I started designing in 2012. Nothing big, a small minimalist cabin, 12’x16’ with a loft. All of the essentials fit methodically into a space, with a small loft over half to give it breathing room. Designed in a timber frame hybrid manner over the course of a few years when I had the money or res

I started designing in 2012. Nothing big, a small minimalist cabin, 12’x16’ with a loft. All of the essentials fit methodically into a space, with a small loft over half to give it breathing room. Designed in a timber frame hybrid manner over the course of a few years when I had the money or resources, I would continue the project. Since then, it has been a getaway for many people. Meanwhile (working with Joe Schmo) searching for the knowledge to be the freelancer I aspire to; I indulged in a series of classes at the tech to learn CAD. I involve myself in multiple projects, designs, frame to finish, and other retrofit solutions to continue my education. Whilst I study how all the pieces fit together by doing business with multiple low environmental impact builders and tradesmen, I create a theory of my own.
